2. Salar Jung Museum - This world famous art museum is a feather on India's cap.This beautiful museum is located in a place called Hyderabad.Behold!!This is the world's largest one man collection art museum.
The collections of the Salar Jung Museum are the mirrors of the past human environment, ranging from 2nd century B.C to early 20th century A.D of different cultures such as Greek, Roman, Hindu, Jain, Buddhist, Christian and Islamic of various countries and of various materials. 3. It was only in the 19th century, that the Ajanta group of caves, lying deep within the Sahyadri hills, cut into the curved mountain side, above the Waghora river, were discovered. They depict the story of Buddhism, spanning a period from 200 BC to 650 AD.
These structures representing the three faiths of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism, were carved during the 350 AD to 700 AD period. The 12 caves to the south are Buddhist, the 17 in the centre dedicated to Hinduism, and the 5 caves to the north are Jain.

5.The Sun temple at Konark - The Sun temple at Konark is an ancient temple. It has beautiful carvings of the god's and godesses depicting various scenes. The temple is near Bhubaneshwar at Orissa. It is the site of the 13th-century.
The temple takes the form of the chariot of Surya, the sun god, and is heavily decorated with stone carving. The entire complex was designed in the form of a huge chariot drawn by seven spirited horses on twelve pairs of exquisitely decorated wheels.The entrance is guarded by two giant lions, which are each shown crushing a war elephant. Each elephant in turn lies on top of a human body. The temple symbolizes the majestic stride of the Sun god.
It was constructed from oxidizing and weathered ferruginous sandstone. The temple is one of the most well renowned temples in India and is a World Heritage Site.
